Hit Me Baby One More Time: Week Seven

The show kicked off with boyband 911, I missed there opening number so can't comment, but their cover version of Don't Stop Movin' by S Club was dire. Next up was Nathan Moore, formally of Boy band Brother beyond, who sang their hit The Harder I Try which he followed with Elton John's Get Ready which was an odd choice and only OK. Princess, the eighties soul diva performed her smash Say I'm Your Number One and followed it with Kylie's Slow which she made a bit more of a clubby/dance track which worked well. Kenny Thomas did well with his song Thinking about Your Love but I think his choice of the Norah Jones track Don't Know Why was a bit too Radio 2 for the prime time Saturday night mainstream crowd that was in, though no doubt he has a fabulous voice. Ultra Nate was the fifth act and is still singing on club tracks now (for the likes of Stonebridge), she did Free and then Rachel Stevens Some Girls.

The studio audience favourite was Nathan Moore, but for some reason the home viewers voted for 911.
