Old Boy

A Korean film and as weird as fuck. But I liked it the more I think about it, and that has to be a good thing.

Oh Dae-Su was kidnapped and held captive in a room for 15 years. Then one day he was released. He meets a girl in a restaurant who offers to help, then he discovers he had five days to find out the truth or she will die. It is a dark, interesting and original film, with an novel twist. It can be very violent in places, enough to make the toughest squirm, but the originality and black humour keep you watching, waiting to find out who kidnapped Oh Dae-Su and why.
