Kissing in Manhattan by David Schinkler

This small book is made up of small stories about people who live or are connected to people who live in a certain Manhattan apartment block. There are one or two that don't fit in with a bigger picture, but most stories have overlapping characters or events with another story. There are several restaurants and bars that crop up throughout the book making you feel like you know the neighbourhood. A few of the stories are a bit odd and slow but mainly they are enjoyable, and the length of this book means it is an easy enough read to pick up between mammoth tomes if need be.
