Celeb Fame Academy: The Final

Friday was Red Nose Day and thus the Final of Celeb Fame Academy. Edith sang first with Bridge Over Troubled Waters, unfortunately the sound in the studio was not very good, but she seemed to do well. Ade sang Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You and managed to be consistently wacky and entertaining. Judge Craig said he looked a bit 'desperate' like someone who 'would drop his trousers just to get a laugh'. Always happy to oblige, Adrian then mooned the judges. He got a laugh too. Kim then sang Something and made the best performance. At the end, Kim and Edith got through for a sing-off backed by Jools Holland's band.

Edith sang Champagne Supernova and did OK, but I didn't think it was all that insipid of all the rave reviews she got from the judges. Kim, however, did Somewhere Over the Rainbow and was phenomenal.

When the results were announced the winner was Edith. The show raised well over a million pounds for Comic Relief.
