Celeb Fame Academy: Episode Eight

Edith kicked off the show with Sweet Dreams (are made of this) which she sang really well and the judges raved about her. Reggie then sang This Old Heart of Mine which was an average performance, Craig said it wasn't good enough and caused a row with tutor David, who thought it was. I don't think it will be.

Dawn sang What I am which looked good in rehearsal, vocally she didn't seem to good on the show, but her routine was good, and the judges were uninspired. Adrian performed It Must be Love in a funny contraption that meant he could lean over in all directions without falling, his voice was weak and croakey, but his performance was good. Kim then performed Perfect and gave a perfect performance. Debra sang Anyone Who Had a Heart which she did very well.

For the group numbers, Ade, Reggie, Dawn and Edith sang Ain't What You Do (It's the Way that you do it) which was very good, complete with dance routines. Debra and Kim sang Only Want To Be With You and again did it very well. The judges were pleased with both performances.

The bottom three tonight were Dawn, Reggie and Edith (the latter a big surprise as she was a favourite in the betting). The judges voted to save Edith. After the students voted, Reggie and Dawn had two votes apiece. Thus the decision went to the public vote - whoever had got the least would be evicted. In this case it was Dawn, and thus Reggie was saved again.
