Happy New Year

Like many, I have been moved by the continued coverage of the tragedy, and the bravery and generosity of some people since the earthquake and tsunami in SE Asia.

Gordon Brown is leading the way for the G8 members to freeze debts owed by affected nations.

There have been some very generous donations from governmets and citizens combined, including money from Mozambique one of the poorest countries in the world.

Thailand in particular is postive that tourists will return soon.
