Hit Me Baby One More Time: Heat Five

This was the last heat and first up was ex-new Kids on the Block singer Jordan Knight, he was a popular choice with the girls and sang his solo hit from 1999, Give It To You, which was probably a bit slow to win, as was his contemporary choice of Mario's Let me Love You. Next up was club diva Rozalla singing her anthemic Everybodys Free which was done well and did a passable version of Fly By by Blue. Junior was next with his big hit Mama Used to Say and an excellent version of Daniel Bedingfield's Gotta Get Thru This.

This was followed by the rather dire Italian singer Sabrina and her tacky hit Boys Boys Boys (Summertime Love) and her cringy version of the Sugababe's Hole in the Head. The highlight of the evening was Shalamar and their dance hit Night to Remember and their version of Hey Ya!.

The audience vote went to Shalamar and fortunately so did the viewer vote. I would imagine Junior and/or Rozalla were close.

The final next week should feature Tiffany, Shakin' Stevens, Carol Decker, Hue & Cry and Shalamar.
